Allow restricted settings
On Android 13 and later, SMS access is blocked for apps from outside the store. Open Settings → Apps → Novo Sms Forwarder → ⋮ → Allow restricted settings.

Follow the wizard
Create a bot with @BotFather, add it to a group, allow SMS access and lift battery limits. The app guides you through each step.
On Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor and Samsung, also turn on autostart for the app, or the system may not wake it for new SMS.

Is it free?
Yes. The app is free, with no ads and no subscriptions.
Can NOVO see my SMS?
No. Messages go from the phone straight to your bot in Telegram. Nothing passes through our servers.
Do I need root or a computer?
No. An Android phone and a Telegram account are all you need.
Which phones are supported?
Android phones with a SIM card, Android 7 and later. It does not work on iPhone: iOS does not let apps read SMS.
What if the phone has no internet?
The SMS stays in the log and goes to Telegram automatically once the network is back, even after a restart.
Can I forward to a specific topic in a group?
Yes. In groups with topics you can pick one, like OTP codes, so codes do not get lost in the main chat.
Why is the app not on Google Play?
Google Play hardly lets in apps that read SMS. So we share the APK from this site.
